An intrepid team from Alphason took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge over the weekend of 4th-5th June, in aid of Cancer Research UK. In just 24 hours the Alphason mountaineers climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

Manchester, 13/05/2010- Alphason Office, making a first public introduction at the Interiors Show Birmingham in January, which has been heralded as a resounding success. Our team has managed to open new distribution channels and introduce the rapidly expanding range to new customers.
On the back of this success Alphason Office is about to launch its first ever 40 page consumer Catalogue.
A new Website will be launched at the same time in order to further expand the range of tools available to our customers. Both will cover a broad range of products from small office/home office furniture to commercial office furniture.

Manchester, 17 February 2010- Alphason has launched an online training scheme which aims to help further increase the success of Viewsmart for its dealers.
This has been developed as a training micro-site (mini website) featuring industry training expert George Morton.
As the facility is interactive, users can choose to partake in the entire experience in one sitting, or focus on specific areas that are appropriate at the time.

Alphason has won the ERT magazine Accessory Product of the Year Award for its Viewsmart programme.
Viewsmart, which was launched at the Euronics Show in 2008 exclusively for independent retailers, is now stocked by more than half of Alphason’s retailer customers.
“To receive such recognition from Industry experts is a tremendous accolade and endorsement for our Viewsmart programme,” Alphason’s Chief Operating Officer Chris Emerson commented.
“It gives us even greater satisfaction knowing that our continuing investment in the independent sector, for whom the Viewsmart programme was conceived, has paid off not only for us in winning this Award but in the increasing number of attachment sales our customers are making on the back of Viewsmart.”

There are four modes in the range. Each product was developed by a different designer and offers an answer for clever storage of AV components and media. The Alphason Studio range marks another milestone for the company, whereby all four products are not only designed but also hand-made at Alphason’s manufacturing facility near Wigan, UK.

Alphason and Videocon join forces for Granada Digital Switchover 
Leading UK AV furniture manufacturer Alphason Designs and Videocon, the newest name in the consumer electronics marketplace, have joined forces for a promotion to readers of the Manchester Evening News for the forthcoming Digital Switchover in the Granada TV region on November 4.
The newspaper is running a competition on its award-winning website – Manchester Online - giving away this 32” Videocon Series 5 Full HD flat screen TV together with a complementing curvy Aura stand from Alphason.
Says Alphason’s Chief Operating Officer Chris Emerson: “With both companies being based in the Granada TV region, it seemed a good idea to get together to promote ourselves with the country’s best newspaper website. The synergy is excellent.”
The competition starts on October 19 and will run for four weeks.

We know from the many letters of thanks that we receive from grateful consumers that our Customer Service is second to none so we were delighted when we received a top accolade from the leading trade title recently.
ERT – Electrical and Radio Trading - run a mystery caller feature entitled Don’t Call Us where various manufacturers and suppliers in the consumer electronics industry are phoned. The caller – posing as a consumer – asks various questions to test product knowledge and customer service.
Alphason scored a very pleasing 9/10 for their performance – and noted ERT, were the quickest on the draw when it came to actually answering the call!
The magazine summary of the call was as follows:
“My call was answered on the first ring – the quickest since we launched “Don’t Call Us” last year. The call handler was friendly and helpful. She ascertained my needs and was able to talk about the two products she mentioned. By asking for my postcode, she was able immediately to advise me on three local Alphason stockists. all of which were independent retailers. Well done.” ERT 12th September 2009

The IFA event in Berlin, Germany, is one of the world’s largest consumer electronics trade show. Since 2006 the IFA show takes place every single year; last year 1049 exhibitors and 212,494 visitors attended this consumer electronics trade event. The IFA 2009 show is a trade show for both industry experts and the general public with unique trade visitor services, special events and a comprehensive program for consumers.
